How Becoming a Parent Taught Me to Level Up in Business

Sarah Kathleen Peck

Craft + Commerce 2020

From urban design to storytelling to swimming naked from Alcatraz to raise money for charity, Sarah is the embodiment of our community value to “Teach Everything You Know.”

In her most recent adventure, Sarah has created a human named Leo entirely from scratch with the help of her husband Alex. Now, she’s here to teach us about how the adventure of motherhood has changed everything about how Sarah views her work, and in this talk she’ll share just what it means to manage a dual identity as a mother and an entrepreneur.

Whether you’re on the same journey already, thinking about it in the future, or simply value empathy for others, this talk will change the way you look at entrepreneurial mothers.
